A post-college, unfulfilling job made the decision easy; quit the job and follow the dream of making a calligraphy business a reality.
Dropping flyers in mailboxes, appearing in bridal shows, calling on businesses with the black portfolio book in hand, baby-sitting in the evenings and working just a few restaurant jobs to pay the rent all helped to make Calligraphy Concepts what it is today.
What started out as a hobby for Monica McInerney at eight years old turned into a life-long dream and has become a thriving business.
